Assistant Press Manager  & Assistant Assembly Manager

                           

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate press department operations within company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe department
  • Establish and direct department policies and procedures
  • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing and production
  • Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules
  • Schedule and conduct department meetings
  • Responsible for the product quality control for the press department
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                          

·        Responsible for department production goals

·        Foster a well-trained and motivated staff

  • Select and train department supervisory and administrative staff
  • Conduct employee performance reviews
  • Handle any disciplinary matters

·        Attend scheduled company training and meetings

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of Associates Degree with three plus years of experience in the manufacturing environment.

·        Preferably from the transfer press or assembly industry

·        Staff management experience

·        Broad operation experience is a benefit

·        Some technical background is a benefit

 

Language Skills English, Korean and Spanish a plus                                            

Mathematical Skills

Good analytical skills applicable to planning function

 

Reasoning Ability

Rational problem solving skills; well developed leadership skills and the ability to lead by example

 

Computer Skills

Proficiency using MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint software; AutoCAD 2004 a plus; computer savvy with the ability to learn a new software including Company’s workflow management software

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

 

Other Skills and Abilities

Handle multiple projects/tasks and meet production deadlines; self motivated, independent thinker with high standards; skilled in increasing production efficiency and improving product quality
